JULY 24 2009
As you might have predicted, today I am really happy because we have music lesson. What makes me really excited is because today I am going to hear the soon-to-be guitar students play the fascinating instrument. There are 9 people who want to be in that class. They are:
  1. Jayne Imelda.
  2. Andrew Budiarta.
  3. Bayu Tjandra.
  4. Nicholas Mark.
  5. Kevin Hilmawan.
  6. James Hadisurjo.
  7. Emir Mirza.
  8. Carlo Santiago.
  9. Raden Hilman Adhi Aryo Wongsokusumo.

Too bad only 7 students pass the audition. Those who don't pass should move to another instrument class, such as strings or woodwinds. Honestly, I think all of them play rather good, and I am very dissapointed that Mr. Herry won't give those people who don't pass a chance to improve their playing.

After the guitar's audition is finished, now is the piano's. I don't play any songs because I have stayed in that class for like... 3 years long. I guess Mr. Herry believes me that I have the ability to play piano quite well. Almost all of the students that want to be in piano pass the audition, except Andrew Sie. Mr. Herry thinks that he is not that capable to follow up the piano lessons with the others. Therefore, he puts Andrew in string class. I kind of feel sorry to Andrew because I can see that he seems that he wants to study piano seriously. Why don't give him a chance, right? Oh, well, anyway, it's not really my right to criticize my teachers, but I am just telling what is in my mind. So, yeah, that's it for today.
