JULY 31 2009
I guess from today we have started the real music theory. No more chit chat or laughter during the class time. We are all sit in silence and learn about music notes. We learn about C major's triad and 7th triad. It was kind of boring with me because I have learnt about it since I was in elementary school and when I entered Binus in grade 7, we also have studied this. Thus, yes, it is very boring! However, I guess we should repeat the lesson again because there are new and old kids that don't understand about it. We studied this for 40 minutes, even though I have finished earlier. After this boring 40 minutes session, we go to our instrument class. However, we also sing Heal The World again by pairs.
During the instrument class, I play C major triad and 7th triad. After that, we play sonatas. As I haven't got the chance to memorize my current sonatina. I really play badly because I haven't played this song for some months. I made lots of mistakes, but I am sure if I practice more I would be able to play it without any and I mean it. Oh, I forget to tell you that Mr. Herry asked me to join the interschool competition, but I can't because I have piano theory exam in YPM on Saturday, 1 August 2009. Too bad. Honestly, I sort of feeling very happy as I am very NOT confident that I would be able to win. But, oh well, I guess that's all for today, right?
