AUGUST 25 2009
I have never realized how smart people are in my class! They are so amazing. For example, James. He is really awesome in palying guitar. And there is Eun Hye who is not only good in flute, but also piano and violin (I know, right? She is such a genius!). There is also Tiffany who can play piano and sing very well. Oh, what about Hasan? His voice is really good and he is talented in violin. Another guy that is really good in singing is Emir. He also can play guitar really well. Oh, and there is Aryo who plays with feelings that mesmerize everybody. Another friend of mine, JeOk, is a great singer. And then there is Kezia who is really good at playing piano. Oh, and also Bayu that can play guitar songs that seem so hard! Seriously, these people are so awesome!! It's not that I am saying that the others are not good. Nope, I'm not saying that. I just say what I see. Well, today is rehearsal day for our solo performance assessment.
The first person who plays is James. He plays a song named Adelita which means Tears. Don't ask. He plays this in the interschool competition and he gets the second place. Yup, he is really great. After he plays 2 songs, it is Emir's turn to show his talents. He sings and plays a song called Remembering Sunday by All Time Low. The song is really nice and he plays it really well. After him, Bayu and Melvin also plays a song from Depapepe. Honestly, I must say that the song is really awesome. After guitar, it's time for Tiffany to show her ability. She plays Arabesque by Debussy. Too bad, when she plays, she makes many mistakes. Hm... that is so unlike Tiffany because she usually plays perfectly. Maybe she is nervous... After her, Tiffany plays duet with Andriani... They play Canon in D by Campbell. After that, Eun Hye plays Amazing Grace using flute and believe it or not, she still plays really good even though her lower lip is kind of swollen. How is that not awesome? Yes, indeed, today there is no instrument class. So sad, huh? However, from this, I realize that I have to practice more to get really good scores!
